

1. Vans will premiere the Cheeseburger slip-on shoe on March 1st at New York Fashion Week, a collaboration with French brand Colette and The Cobra Snake (American photographer Mark Hunter), inspired by California burger joints.
2. Striving to “strip away the stigma and attitude” that surrounds the designer coffee business, brand architects Woodsmithe are currently constructing Handsome Coffee House in the Los Angeles Art District in collaboration with World Barista Champion Michael Phillips and the Handsome Coffee brand, which will feature a bare-bones menu of brewed coffee, espresso, and pastries from Na Young Ma's Proof Bakery.

3. Electronic music trailblazers Kraftwerk will be playing a residency series at the MoMA starting April 10th, featuring works from their albums as well as unreleased original pieces accompanied by projected 3-D images.
4. "Memoir," a film by fashion photographer Willy Vanderperre, offers a cinematic interpretation of Dior Homme's Spring/Summer 2012 collection.

5. Earth Laughs in Flowers features work from American fine-art photographer David LaChapelle. Inspired by Ralph Waldo Emerson's "Hamatreya," a poem in which the earth's flowers ridicule man for arrogantly believing that he rules the land on which he walks, LaChapelle's ten large-scale images depict floral arrangements with miscellaneous objects. Earth Laughs in Flowers will be on view from February 14th to March 22nd at the Robilant & Voena gallery in London.

6. Kate does it again, teaming up with New York street-label Supreme for their Spring/Summer campaign.

7. This city-system replica features miniature cars that speed through 6-lane freeways at 240 scale miles per hour; the Metropolis II exhibit purports recreate the stressful sensory experience of living in a 21st-century city. Metropolis II is currently on-view at LACMA.

8. Tarkovsky pays tribute to Andrei Tarkovsky, the master of mise-en-scène, with an in-depth look at the late director’s oeuvre, where every frame is literally, a photograph. Available in March through Black Dog Publishing.

9. Gitman Brothers combines old-world tailoring with modern-day techniques to design the finest quality of men’s customized shirts fit for any imagination.

10. Ford’s Theatre Center for Education and Leadership in Washington, D.C. has constructed a 34-foot tower (roughly the height of Lincoln himself we believe) containing 6,800 books that represent more than 15,000 titles about Abraham Lincoln.

11. Cloud Gate (nicknaked the Bean by locals) is an art installation in Chicago's Millennium Park. The creative vision of Petra Bachmaier and Sean Gallero decided to employ the Bean's reflective properties for a choreographed lightshow called Luminous Field. Until February 20th, visitors can enjoy dancing, wonderful lights at this public space.

12. Malin Isaksson's "Gilded Butterflies": delicate framework at the Stockholm Furniture Fair.

13. Portuguese designer Tó Martins recycles with the drums of washing machines. Martins creates different lamps called Rewash using corks, measuring tapes, and faux grass. How would you decorate your Tó Martins lamp?
